| Imazu Bay Restoration. This design for ecological redevelopment of Fukuoka's Imazu Bay tidal flats shows how to preserve important wildlife habitat and provides sustainable drainage. Re-vegetated irrigation canals with native trees and marsh would bring native birds and animals back to the city, including culturally important fireflies.
