Vacaville Police Headquarters
The Vacaville Police Headquarters is a high-performance building that uses 34% less energy than standard buildings in its class. We designed the building with natural light in mind — shading and light-shelves direct daylight into the building without overheating indoor space during hot California summers. Damper technology in the building’s steel frame is designed to absorb lateral forces in case of an earthquake, making for a safer building that uses less steel.
